About Feather Home Staging and Decor

Stager program at Seneca College and began work in-house for Hans Team/Home Life Eagle Realty (formally Hans Ohrstrom Team) in Newmarket. One year later, in a bold move, Rahy created Feather Home Staging and Décor and quickly grew to become known for her work ethic, fair pricing, and magic touch.

The realization of Rahy's dream to provide home staging options without hidden fees or compromise, Feather Home Staging and Décor offers staging for vacant and occupied homes. While we do vacant and partial staging using our own inventory – and rental furniture as required – we have chosen to focus on transforming the occupied home for listing impact. Rahy is renowned for performing “magic” to bring an occupied home to photo-ready in 3 hours.

She is not alone in her pursuits. Her partner, Greg, is with her every step of the way. A graduate of Graphic Design, Photography and Illustration, Greg worked in the marketing and communications sector for 2o years. The last 6 years, Greg worked as a commercial photographer shooting editorial, corporate portraiture, architecture and real estate. Feather now offers photography and walk-through video to our staging packages.

Our services

Walk & Talk Consultation
We will walk through the house with the client, assess and make recommendations. The client is encouraged to take notes as there is no written report.

Written Report Consultation
After accessing the property and gathering information and takes photos, we will write the report which is typically 5-10 pages in length.

Art Packages
Art Packages are the most reasonable home staging package we offer. Feather Home Staging encourages home owners to take advantage of the Art Package when selling their home if they decide not to proceed with our other staging packages. With an Art Package, Feather Home Staging will use your existing furniture and accessorize the home. It is the most practical package as it transforms your home and saves you the cost of movers.

Occupied Home Staging
For homeowners that are living in their home while trying to sell the house, Feather Home Staging incorporates the best of your existing home furnishing and can supplement rental furniture and accessories from our warehouse filled with beautiful staging collections. Please take pictures of the rooms you'd need staged and ,We can evaluate each space, and analyze your staging needs. This approach not only highlights the home’s best features, but also makes it appealing to the broadest base of home buyers and creates a modern new updated look. We can do as much or as little as you like within your time frame and budget. You’ll be amazed by the transformation! The result is a “show ready” home.

Vacant Home Staging
For homeowners selling a vacant house, Feather Home Staging will stage the home with beautiful furniture and accessories from our warehouse. Feather Home Staging is available to stage all rooms of the home, or just a few as per your request. Your house will look “show ready” straight out of a magazine! We offer competitive rates.
