Doctor Kambiz Koosha, D.D.S.
Dentist
Dr. Koosha is dedicated to leadership in dentistry. Preventative dentistry for children is his personal passion, as well as implantology and orthodontics for adults.
Dr. Koosha received his DDS from the University of SBMU School of Dentistry in 1998. He has since completed extensive post graduate training in Implantology from Harvard, Sedation course from UofT, and Orthodontics and TMJ Disorders through Dr. Brock Rondeau Residency. Dr. Koosha has practiced in GTA since 2015.
He stays active by boating, fishing, skiing, playing Soccer, and watching movies with his wife, Maki, and two children.

We have a special area for kids, and in the operatory area our big aquarium is enjoyed both by kids and by adults,” says Dr. Koosha.
Doctor Katayoun Esfahanizadeh

Dr. Katayoun (Kathy) Esfahanizadeh graduated in 1993 as a general dentist in Mashhad, Iran. She immediately followed her passion for working with children and obtained her specialty in Pediatric Dentistry from Shahid Beheshti (Melli) University of Medical Sciences in 1998. Her enthusiasm for academics and keeping updated got her a teaching position at Azad University of Medical Sciences while she was still a student. Since 1998 she became a full-time assistant professor and for 20 years she was providing clinical instructions to graduate and later postgraduate students. She received the “Students’ Choice Award” for being the best teacher in the Pediatric Department of the same university in 2003. She also became the first Pedodontic Department Postgraduate Director at Azad university after the program was launched in 2008.
She worked as a volunteer in the Vardavard Welfare Centre for physically and mentally challenged children, providing them with comprehensive dental care for many years. Dr. Kathy got her fellowship degree in a complementary academic course of “Hospital Dentistry” at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences to master her skills in providing care to children with special needs under sedation or general anesthesia but as she quoted on many occasions, no drug is as effective as gentle, loving care in handling children in dentistry.
She owns her private practice in Tehran, Iran since 1998. The clinic is still running under her supervision and continues to provide dental treatment to children. The clinic is reputable for its capacity to treat challenging cases without the use of sedation or general anesthesia, a reputation, she is trying to withhold after moving to Canada and since she has become a certified general practitioner here in Toronto. Dr. Kathy is a general practitioner now but works as an associate who’s limited her services to only pediatric patients.
Dr. Kathy is a proud member of many associations such as the International Association of Pediatric Dentistry, Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario Dental Association, Iranian Ontario Dental Association, Canadian Dental Association, and Iranian Association of Pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Kathy has a strong belief in making dentistry easy and fun for children. She tries to make their dental visits memorable and enjoyable while emphasizing preventive oral health. Her genuine love for children makes it possible to achieve this goal. In her spare time, Dr. Kathy enjoys nature, discovering new trails, cycling, travelling, and volunteering where she is needed.
