About Queen Of Persia Cuisine
We are a family owned restaurant offering patrons our passion for food and Persian cuisine to the heart of Toronto. Inspired by our lifelong family tradition of home cooking and freshest ingredients and recreating our childhood memories from our Grandmothers nourishing us every day with homemade cooking, aromatic flavorful Persian cuisine, inspired us to open the first Persian restaurant.
We are delighted to show the taste of real Persian food from traditional delicate Kebobs dishes and the more sophisticated pomegranate and walnut ‘Fesenjoon.’ Persian Cuisine offers a diverse food, rich in its culture and history. A cuisine that offers an ancient multicultural diversity within Persian empire east on Silk Road and West of Mediterranean sea. When we think of Persia we think of exotic carpets, the poems of Rumi and Omar Khayyam, Caviar from the Caspian Sea and the tales of Scheherazade. Our services
Every item on our menu is prepared with the finest ingredients by our experienced kitchen. The menu features mouthwatering delicate Kebobs all prepared to the highest standard, homemade stews, and our famous house special Fresh Fava bean herbal rice and fall of the bone, Lamb Shank.
We offer great varieties of beer in the bottle and fantastic wine list selection by the bottle and choices served by the glass. All red wine by the bottle is served at 18 degrees and stored in our wine preservation system, making for a great tasting of wine every time.
PERSIAN CUISINE
Persian food, an ancient cuisine, is as delicious as it is nourishing, as beautiful as it is healthy. Our food is lushly perfumed with saffron, citrus, rose petal, and mint. Familiar foods such as lamb, veal, rice and chicken are exotically transformed into the leanest kebab, heavenly mixed rices, and magical stews by the mysterious tastes of pomegranate, cardamom, sumac and traditional herb blends. Our cuisine reveres fresh tastes and ingredients, and our table is a gorgeous collage of colours, textures and aromas. Also, yours to discover, a beautiful collection of original Persian artwork, as evocative of our culture as the cuisine itself.
